What makes post construction cleaning different from regular window cleaning?
Construction leaves behind materials that standard window cleaning won't fully clean. Paint overspray, caulk smears, adhesive from stickers and tape, drywall dust, and hard debris. These require specialized tools and techniques to remove without scratching the glass.
What types of residue do you remove?
We remove paint overspray, silicone smears, caulk residue, construction adhesive, sticker and label residue, drywall dust, mortar, and general construction debris from glass surfaces. If it ended up on the windows during a build or renovation, we can get it off.
When should I schedule post-construction cleaning?
Ideally, after all trades are finished and before move-in or final walkthrough. The sooner residue is addressed after construction wraps, the easier it is to remove.
Will removing construction debris scratch the glass?
Not when done correctly. We use proper razor techniques, appropriate solvents, and professional tools designed for glass. Improper DIY attempts, using the wrong blade angle or dry scraping typically cause scratches.
